AND, I just got called about my Wal-Mart job today. I'm starting orientation on Tuesday. I shall have to plan my time so very wisely around this tournament and job.
The only thing that will make this day absolutely amazing is if, in the Neopets Yuuyoball tournament the Lost Desert team ended up winning.

Alright guys. Get ready for a long journal.
(Actually, this isn't as long as the last one!)

To kick things off, I'm 18 today! Woo-hoo! I'm gathering up a few friends, watching a video then hitting it up at Fiesta Texas. (Only, I never told any of them it's for my birthday. I really just wanted a get together. Being with my friends- that's a fantastic gift right there.

I've done a lot of things over the past month. I watched a lot of videos with two of my friends. We got together and just watched three videos in a row. We started with Jim Hensen's Labyrinth- that was an... interesting movie. I feel it really had potential to be amazing, but with those 80s songs? No. We also watched The Illusionist (love it!) and the Pagemaster (good to see those old movies!). A while earlier we had also gone to see Wicked, The Musical. IT IS AMAZING. Funny, entertaining, and keeps you guessing. I loved it!

OH! Big news. I applied to Wal-Mart (I know, setting my standards low). BUT, I got called the very next day for an interview! Although the drug test... WOW. That was a giant mess. I got my interview, they said to go in for a drug test. I went the very next day, only to find out I couldn't get it done because I was minor, and I had to have parental permission. WELL, my mom and I went early the next day. Whoops. The paper work we had expired after 24 hours. Trying to get new paperwork was a hassle, so pretty much all day yesterday I was driving around trying to get everything done. But, it's all settled now, and I'm hoping they hire me. Even a little money in my pocket would be great before going off to college.

Artists at the Ready... Oh boy. I really don't think I'm going to make it in. I've seen a lot of amazing people entering, so chances are dwindling done fast. I'm predicting a 1 in 7 or 8 chance of getting in. Still, as soon as the post the 64, I will post my spectator entry- regardless of whether I get in or not. I'll still keep my fingers crossed, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Instead I'm going to scurry about and see if I can get stuff done within the next couple days. Like art, or this big tournament on Neopets. Yeah, I'll stay busy.

Don't expect another journal for a LOOOONNNNGGG time. I'm leaving for Chicago in early August, so I won't be able to post squat when I'm moving.
